The EC02 is a 1320mm (52 inch) four bladed sweep fan. Entirely Australian designed, the die-cast aluminium housing is attractive, light weight and robust. The blades are a new aerofoil design created by Hunter Pacific International in Sydney which provide high airflow for lower energy input when compared to conventional flat paddle timber blades.
A custom wound high efficiency motor uses less power to provide better airflow than similar sized fans with standard motor designs that are turning traditionally shaped blades. To even further reduce energy consumption and running cost EC02 is supplied with an additional set of wall speed control capacitors. These additional capacitors provide super economy by reducing the power on medium and low speed from 26W and 13W to 19W and 7W respectively.*
The fan is suitable for raked ceilings up to 28 degrees (accessory kit available for up to 45 degrees). It comes with a 2 year 'In- Home' warranty and a further 3 years parts only warranty for the motor.
The EcO2 can be connected to building automation systems that have relay control modules. It is not recommended to connect to electronic fan speed controllers. The supplied wall switch is designed to suit most Australian wall plates (wall plate not included).
Hunter Pacific International was founded in the 1980s as a small family business with a focus on quality & original products. Determination and an unwavering commitment to those founding principles has seen the company grow steadily to its current position as one of the leaders in the Australian industry, supplying significant volume to both the residential and commercial sectors.
In 2005, the company moved into its new, purpose-built headquarters in Dural, in Sydney's northwest. With these expanded facilities, the company is focusing on further broadening its product range, while making even greater improvements in reliability, service & outstanding design. The company now boasts its own internal R&D division as well as an enlarged service & product assessment area. This has become necessary to avoid errors in installation which can cause issues with even the highest quality products.
